With the last update players get a mod of 2x speed and assistants 1.5x to add to the bad(1), okay(2), good(3) skill point increase.
This can always be modified with quests and stuff. Not sure if thats enough of a mod or too much awaiting feedback.

Hmm. Remembering you cap out at 100 in a skill.
Normal is 100/50/34 actions to max a skill by default.
Assistant training is thus 1.5/3/4.5 points a train(Does the game round or not, and which way if so?) for 67 actions/34 actions/23 actions to max, presuming it's all one type(Good, medium, bad) all the time.
Personal training is 2/4/6 points a train. This takes actions to max a stat to 50/25/17. That seems fairly good as a baseline given you get 2-3 actions per day(They must rest, after all), if you want slave buy and trade to be a reasonable source of income. Of course, there's some things you simply can't grant that boost to because neither can supervise(Cleaning, for example), so you need to eat the full training time. But there could be other means, temporary or otherwise, to help that.
You have to expect that people ae gonna hunt down the most efficient means to grow slaves in the paths of their choice, whether to sell or to serve. Moreso if their own skills are tied to it. They won't become more than numbers till the player's power is such that they feel that they can afford to think of them as 'It's HER, and he's my perfect X, and she's all mine...', rather than something to be sold on for money or power.

Hmm. Does the game round or not, and which way if so? If I remember right, actionscript numbers are floating point by default, so the fractional part would be kept, but not displayed.
