Expanding on the Farmer's Guild for milking.
At start of the game you don't have access to the farmer's market. When you try to enter your told by the guards "Sorry, only store owners and guild members allowed."
After you get an introduction to the Farmer's Guild your allowed to enter. You can get an introduction by attempting to sell milk from your cowgirl and being contacted by the Farmer's guild, or by doing quests which would introduce you to the Farmer's guild. Another possible route would be if stores were introduced to the game and your store had something to do with food. Say running a restaurant, bakery, bar, or entertainment hall.
At the farmer's market you would be able to buy raw ingredients that your girls could use for cooking special foods, recipes for said foods, sell food to the market, and talk to the guild representative.
The representative always has jobs available in the morning. Minor quests with minor rewards. The two most common jobs should be "Green Gathering" where you and a group of slaves (read: combat group) enter the green to forage. 40% chance of just getting the reward with no combat. 40% chance of combat with an easy encounter. 15% chance of a moderate combat encounter. 5% chance of a difficult encounter that gives a special reward.
Quest rewards: several fruit items that can be sold or kept. If there is a combat encounter and an appropriate creature is there to fight (like boars, bears etc) give a 50% chance of meat being included in the reward. Special reward should be appropriate to the encounter. Monster body part, or maybe random item like weapons and armor if humanoid opponent.
The other common quest should be service oriented. Essentially the same as doing green clearing or working for the guild. Maybe make entertaining skills valuable and do a "Hawking Wares" job where you get paid 2g + 1/10th average of all entertainment jobs?
This could also lead to other quest hooks, especially if you come back to talk to the guild representative during the afternoon? Easy quest ideas would be providing a trained guard slave, a cooking slave, and catching thieves and/or creatures from the green terrorizing farms.
