Talking to milky on IRC, and it turns out we both thougth the game was mising some music. So: here's a test scrapyard build with two screens and a soundtrack for each one. Tunes are in mp3 files, so they can be changed if you don't like them. I expect that we'll add mute option to the preferences scrreen, and that worksafe mode will mute everything. I'd also do an XML file so you could point various screens at the preferred track from your personal music collection. www.mediafire.com/?baa725gru84h6d7Music is royalty-free from incompetech.com/m/c/royalty-free/[edit] Probably help if I used the site url rather than one of the files there. Feel free to suggest tracks for screens, folks. I'm looking for public-domain/royalty free/creative commons tracks, so incompetech.com and jamendo.com are propably good starting points. If we can get enough suitable tunes, I#ll see about getting the soundtrack in place for the next release. [edit] Url still didn't work. This time...

Here's another site with royalty free music: www.nash.jp/nml/They have a wide range of music categories to choose from. There was an old flash hentai hanafuda game I used to play called "Way" that used music from the site and it really fit the game well, so I imagine there's something in there that might pique some interest. EDIT: errrrrrr, maybe scratch that. I just checked the site and it looks like they've changed the format from free to download to a paid service (last time I checked the site was back in '07). Perhaps I misunderstand the term "Royalty Free", but asking people to pay for the music seems counter to the terminology... anyways, disregard the site if you don't want to spend money.

Yeah, what we really need is "public domain" or "creative commons". Royalty free means we don't need to pay a fee for each unit we ship, but they can still do a one-off charge.
Luckily there's a fair bit of CC music around the place.
