Big thing with the addition of furniture to the game is that the bits available are spread out. Would it be possible to move the non-quest reward furniture to its own shop?

I second this suggestion, I want to test out furniture but I haven't been able to find any.

I second this suggestion, I want to test out furniture but I haven't been able to find any. Most of the furniture seems to be in the cafe I think with the portrait and similar. On another note, the Artist class ought to occasionally produce things like that...

Emm, I want to suggest furniture items.
Furniture name: Basic bed Price: 100g. Effect: Decreases chance of sleeping badly/Increase health replenish from resting. Comment: A must for a room. Installing it will allow your slave to rest better.
My comments: Since room upgrade costs 200. A basic bed should be less than 200. Balancing issue: Chance of sleeping badly should be increased and maintainance cost should be added. Maybe 1% of furniture cost?

Furniture Name: Basic Shelves Price: 100-200g (less then a room upgrade) effect: decreases the rate at which things become dirty by a small amount (say 1-10% of the rooms daily accumulation) Comment: Can't keep everything clean? Try using using shelves, they reduce clutter.

I also want to suggest for room upgrade levels. This is to accommodate for better furniture.
Lets say the room is level 1. Upgrading the room(cost 200) to level 2 allows for better furniture.
So Furniture level 2 cannot be placed in room level 1. You need the room to be of higher levels to install the furniture.
Furniture name: Medium Bed-level 2 Price: 200g. Effect: Decreases chance of sleeping badly/Increase health replenish from resting.(1.5x of Basic Bed) Decrease chance of getting sick. Comment: Now equipped together with a blanket, your slave will not need to worry about catching a cold. Better than basic bed.

So Furniture level 2 cannot be placed in room level 1. You need the room to be of higher levels to install the furniture. Would probably be simpler all round to simply unlock slots as you upgrade. So a starting slave room has one furniture slot, and can be upgraded three times, each one unlocking a new slot. (or start with zero and four upgrades). I'd have the master bedroom start fully upgraded, and give the assistants one or two slots in theirs

Hmm, I guess so. Its easier to code it that way. But its wont be as much fun. Once you get a very rare furniture, you just put it up and... where the hell did the fun of upgrading rooms go?
