Meow. Just wanted to know where is the Otherworld save file located? Been looking around in the same general area as the Slavemaker save file so i can make a back up of it for when i go over to my friends house but can't find it.

in windows vista/7:
desktop/<user>/appData/Roaming/Macromedia/Flash Player/#SharedObjects/<RandomGiberish>/localhost/Users/<user>/desktop/<Otherworld File>/Otherworld.swf/Otherworld.sol
<user> = the name of your profile <Otherworld File> = the file path where the swf resides, starting by the desktop. ex: for desktop/Otherworld/Otherworld Christmas you put Otherworld/Otherworld Christmas
note: this path may only work if you have saved your swf in the desktop or ina file residing in the desktop. note 2: If you never saved a started game you wont find the .sol file no matter how hard you try. Likewise if your game crashes trough the save/load infinite loop bug (from the november version) then the .sol file gets deleted. To prevent this, close otherworld after saving and before atempting to load.

thats cause the .sol file path doesnt follow "documents and settings" file tree. Try C:/users/<user>/appData/Roaming/Macromedia/Flash Player/#SharedObjects/<RandomGiberish>/localhost/Users/<user>/desktop/Otherworld Christmas/Otherworld.swf/

Sadly i don't have that file path an the file i found from mine did have the sol image on it but just says this program has encounter the following error "Unknown type tag (0x41) for key irlSaveEffectArray11 at position 0x0000008A."
eh this is really confusing >.<
Also used Search on my computer to find any file an folder name Otherworld (including hidden) turns out that's the only folder on my computer that has the sol file o,o so now i am wondering if sol editor just can't open it or maybe my sol editor is out of date :s not sure xD

It's just that the sol editor can't read its format.

I'm using this to open the sol file correctly: (Minerva) blog.coursevector.com/minerva However I've no idea what each variable is. Anyone want to help out?
Apparently Minerva has a problem with saving. I can't seem to find a better sol editor and viewer though. Does anyone know how to get "javascript:document.embeds[0].SetVariable" to work with otherworld?

hi, well i use xp and I have the swf in a folder in my documents and when I go to find the file. sol in the directory where you saved that file is this (C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data \Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\8HRDNM6X\localhost) I get a folder named ##3C96B04168163F3F and inside a file called 00000001.sol , what I want to know is why I get that file instead of the file Otherworld.sol
