Some of you will know this already, but I'm working on a couple of game projects at the moment. One of them, Clonemaster, is a WhoreMaster like game set in the asteroid belt and the outer solar system. There's a certain amount of common ground with Otherworld (most notably the concept of archetypes) which probably stems from a degree of common inspiration - how to write a better Whoremaster. The other project is the Crossgate Gladiatrix League which is going to be a turn based multiplayer game where you train competing girls to fight in the Crossgate arena. I've been blogging my progress on Google Wave, but have just now moved to a proper blog. It's a bit light on eyecandy compared to Daisy's blog, (unless you get off on UML diagrams) but I hope a few of you will drop in from time to time [edit] I must have still been half asleep when I posted this - Crossgate, not Crossfire. The setting for WhoreMaster...

Never a good sign when a developer can't even test a hyperlink Thanks, fixed now.

Daisy, thanks for the mention on your blog, but I really have to point out that while I've done a lot of work on WhoreMaster, credit for creating the game goes to necno. I'd hate for anyone to think I was taking credit for someone else's work. I do appreciate the mention, though And now I'll stop spamming this thread. (Blogger is weird - it'll let me create and post to a my own blog, but won't give me a comment box to reply to someone else's)

Not necessarily surprising if the other person has a "private" blog. If a lot of other people are commenting (or if you're talking about Daisy's), that would be strange, but if it's just a couple people, they might be the only ones *invited* to reply.

I tell you, I can't even post comments to my own. I'm betting it's something screwy with my firefox extensions.

Mmmkay... tested it myself a moment ago and it seems to be working. Quick check: how far you can get? Do you get the comment page when you click the comments link beneath the post? Can you see the captcha and the box to input it? Can you see the choose your identity options?

Can you see the captcha and the box to input it? Can you see the choose your identity options? I get this far: I did a bit of googling. it seems there's a known issue for inline comment forms. I changed the comments on my page to use a full page comment form and I can post fine. What I read suggested that the problem was with disabled third party comments. I tried re-enabling mine, but it didn't help and I don't think I want them enabled in any case.

Strange... when I click on the comments here: ... I get taken here: ... At least on your blog. Yeah, I changed the comment form options so I could reply to comments. The reply should still work.

Good question. I've been working on clonemaster lately, so the CGL hasn't progressed much. I have a prototype for the client app, but the game is still a long way off being playable. Maybe I should take a look at it. I'm feeling kind of stalled on clomemaster at the moment. A change of scene might do me good
