Which is why I put all the girls in a file to download rather then on the SVN. Otherwise anyone who wanted to play with them would have to compile every girl... That just seemed like a pain.

I'm guessing you haven't uploaded the girls yet then?
You should still upload the source though, since if there are problems with girls we can make changes in branch without having to wait for the authors.

Zip them and upload them to the download section I guess? Better yet, upload a text file with download links if you want to do it that way instead. If you feel you're comfortable enough with the basic procedures then it may be a good time to transition/migrate over to sourceforge, or another SVN host.

I'll let you scout those out zenzou. Still pretty newbie at this thing.

LOL Doc, what happen to "Fate of the Heroines" ?
Anyways, I guess I'll go ahead and make a sourceforge project for you I guess. Firefox's Adblock Plus and Noscript addons should deal with the ads if anyone dislikes seeing them.
As for name of the project, Otherworld is already taken sadly. How do you want the name changed? You want me to add _game, h-game or something of that sort?

LOL Doc, what happen to "Fate of the Heroines" ? A combination of burnout and realising that everyone else had stopped working on the project. And my 3D modelling skills are abysmal

A little off topic: Do we need an IRC channel somewhere or is there already one Im not aware of?

Checking out a branch on a normal internet connection 1mbps, I'm starting to notice the significant slow down due to the .swf files. Weather this is intended, for friendlier bandwidth usage , how possible would it be to strip those out and offer them as another download package?
Noticing your comments from above, maybe a little more elaboration is needed?

Well the big thing is timezones. We're all kind of spread out, so if anything we could set up a daily/weekly thing where we meet in the IRC to discuss code/bugs etc. I think since the IRC is otherworld_game I'll make the sourceforge name otherworld_game. Weather this is intended, for friendlier bandwidth usage , how possible would it be to strip those out and offer them as another download package? Well the swf are just the compiled sources, so in theory it should be fine to remove them. What I think we could do is have all the compiled files (.swf) in the text file with mediafire links to each of the files in order to save room. Then again, I'm going to try out sourceforge, so that may not be an issue anymore when daisy releases the next "open source".

Well for the irc, for me its more of a setup requirement. Creating an account with my bnc to log information and keep my client connected. Im suggesting not necessary just a meeting but an actual irc channel for fans to come ask questions, as well as development discussion, etc. Whatever we need it to be, but an active presence instead of a passive one.

Depending on the platform I can write a script that should be able to automatically download the .swf Files from a specified location automatically, making mediafire a bit more attractive.

sourceforge.net/projects/otherworldgame/I'm currently populating the page with settings and information as well as getting familiar with the site. Let me know if/when you make an account if you haven't already daisy and I'll add you to the project page. --- Well I'm pretty passive as it gets lol. I'll leave it up to Daisy.
